Our Minister

Preacher/ Evangelist
Evan Todachine
Evan Todachine was born and raised on the Navajo Nation, deeply immersed in traditional Navajo beliefs. However, during his college years, he encountered the gospel through his now mentor and great friend, Josh Austin. This pivotal moment led him to dedicate his life to Christ and the ministry of spreading His word.
Evan earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology from the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver and is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies. He began his full-time ministry in 2017, serving for six years with the Salt River church of Christ on the Salt River Pima Reservation. In 2022, he and his family transitioned to Kayenta, AZ, where he now ministers to the Kayenta church of Christ and surrounding mission points, working to strengthen and equip believers across the Navajo Nation.
Beyond his local ministry, Evan serves as a board member for Roots Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to training and equipping missionaries for service in Native communities. His passion is leadership development, discipleship, and equipping Native Christians to serve in their communities.
Evan has been married to his wife, Crystal, for 11 years, and together they are raising their three daughters—Faith, Kenley, and Ramey.
